At the end of August in China there were organized ceremonies concerning rewarding of graduates from the Chinese schools - winners of Academic Competition: “It`s time to study in Russia!” The purpose of Academic Competition is shortlisting of the most talented pupils, wishing to be trained in Russian Universities within the quota determined by the Government of the Russian Federation on training of foreign citizens and compatriots, living abroad. Winners of the shortlisting are 30 Chinese pupils who, having shown excellent results on mathematics, they soon become students of 7 leading Russian Universities. Children gained Diplomas of winners of the Academic Competition, promotional gifts and souvenirs.

So, on the 18th August, in Taiyuan (Province of Shanxi) during the awards ceremony that took place at school of foreign languages No. 2, there were present: The head of Education Department of the Taiyuan city, the Deputy Head of Department of the foreign affairs and compatriots living abroad, directors of schools. On the 19th of August the awards ceremony took place to Luoyang (Province of Henan) at East school.

This year the Academic Competition took place in China for the second time and it showed high organizational and methodical efficiency of shortlisting of foreign students as a result of consolidation of efforts of the interested Russian Universities.
