MPEI expanses cooperation within the framework of the BRICS Network University

May 20, 2022, MPEI held a joint seminar of the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Hydrogen Technologies (IEEHT) and of the North-West University Engineering Faculty of South Africa. The seminar was organized in response to the proposal of colleagues from North-West University to develop cooperation in the design and engineering of heat pumps which was made at the annual conference of the BRICS Network University , held in April in China (online).

At the seminar, staff from the two universities exchanged information on current developments and identified areas of mutual interest. MPEI was presented by the departments of Heat and Mass Transfer Processes and Installations, Industrial Heat Power Engineering Systems and Innovative Technologies for High-Tech Industries.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to continue direct contacts for the preparation of joint research projects.
