Visit of MPEI delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan16.07.202215 July, 2022, the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted VIII meeting of the Council for Industrial Policy of the CIS member states. The agenda of the events included issues on further activation and enhancement of interaction between the CIS member states in the interests of industrial development. Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations made MPEI proposals for the project of Cooperation Concept between the CIS Member States in the Energy Sector until 2035 and for the Plan of Priority Actions for its Implementation. During the visit, a meeting was held with Sherzod Khodjaev, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Sadritdin Turabdzhanov, Rector of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. There was a discussion on cooperation issues in the field of training highly qualified specialists and a decision on the construction of MPEI campus in Tashkent.
