Summer online meeting of the BRICS NU International Thematic Group on Energy

​30 June, 2021, the Summer online meeting of the BRICS NU International Thematic Group on Energy was held in the BRICS Network University cooperation framework. The event was carried out remotely on the MPEI Cisco Webex platform.

In the framework of the meeting the partner universities from Russia, India, China and South Africa were discussing the projects developed by the Russian side on concepts for the Academic mobility of students and teachers of the universities - members of BRICS NU. The fundamental understanding in this field was achieved to the delight of the coordinators. The utmost interest of the colleagues was caused by organization prospects of the short-term mobility of postgraduate students from the BRICS Network University to participate in research projects and prepare joint publications. The questions of financement, yet open, were discussed, as well as the plan for roadmap events for the second half of the year.

At the end, it was decided to conduct a 2-day webinar for students and postgraduates and to organize on its base several guest lectures and students’ reports at the end of September.
