Team of MPEI branch in Dushanbe took second place at the World Vocational Skills Championship

On August 27–28, 2025, the World Vocational Skills Championship for universities and colleges was held at the Luban Workshop of Tajik Technical University (TTU) named after academician M.S. Osimi (Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan). The event was organized by Tianjin Vocational Technical University of Urban Construction Management (China).

MPEI branch in Dushanbe was represented by a student team:

In the Energy category, the team won an honorable second place. Their project focused on converting kinetic energy into electricity and advancing renewable energy technologies.

During the championship, student Saidjon Davlatov gave an interview to Chinese media, highlighting the high level of organization and the importance of international cooperation for the future of specialists in the energy sector.

The administration of MPEI branch in Dushanbe, headed by Director Sagid Abdulkerimov, received a diploma for their efforts in preparing the team and supporting the participants.
